Bit of a joke but the broader conversation should be “am I a glorified computer” When I dropped out of computer science it was to pursue a trade and customer facing jobs and that was a gamble I took seeing the writing on the wall that computers would become good enough programmers and mathematicians to replace humans It’s the other side of “could my job be automated”

The slippery slope argument is you’ll need windows or a Mac to do anything but I think it’ll be more like your phone has to be proprietary and computers become largely irrelevant as long as your phone is in the botnet.
