Come, Lollobrigida: “An exceptional product unjustly criminalized, the Government…” AGI - “The Government’s presence is constant, our producers recognize it, not just ours but also internationally. One of the world’s leading enologists said that France turned its back on wine, Italy didn't, and in fact invests in supporting businesses and promoting an exceptional product that is unjustly criminalized.” This was stated by Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida in an interview with AGI at La Nuvola dell’Eur during the event for the 40th anniversary of the Gambero Rosso, where the ‘Three Glasses’ awards are presented to the best Italian wines. “Opposition representatives should be ashamed of what they have failed to do over time in terms of defending this system and resources: in the NRRPs, previous governments had invested only 3.6 billion in agriculture, we have brought it up to 8 billion and 100.” Said Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida. “In these days we will give another signal of particular attention, with a bill presented by the Government about a year and a half ago: ‘Coltiva Italia’ makes available to the agricultural world over one billion euros, an unprecedented result in the history of the republic,” he added. “We have worked together with major oil companies. Prime Minister Meloni believes it has been extraordinarily attentive to dialogue with Eni, which is a national company, and obviously with those nations that could help us, such as Kuwait in recent hours.” “We are working with great attention, with great caution – explained the minister – The State has the resources to help our producers and on the other hand also to be helped by the private world to support sectors that must always remain more solid. To do this, one of the attentions is fuel, and as far as I am concerned, agricultural fuel.” #TheGovernment’s #France #Italy #LaNuvoladell’Eur #the‘ThreeGlasses’ #Italian #Government #Meloni #Kuwait #State

“Meet the Zionist 'charity' that has brought over 5,000 Israeli war criminals to Britain: The British Friends of the Israeli War Disabled should be shut down” by David Miller in Tracking Power Update on Substack @uk_politics@UKLabour@mastodon.cloud@palestine@fedibird.com @Palestine@masto.ai@palestine@lemmy.ml @iran@iraq@mastodon.social@palestinenews@gts.liberated.press@Yemen@mastodon.social “Zionist war criminals are being hosted secretly in Britain. Thousands have come over the past years. They are hosted by Zionist families in the UK. They are whisked about to tourist spots and hosted in homes, as is reported on the - now deleted - website of the charity” [..] “Fawning over genocidaires suggests that the risks to the UK extend beyond the visitors to those that host them. There is something particularly sick about Zionist in the UK providing what is in effect material support for the genocide” https://trackingpower.substack.com/p/meet-the-zionist-charity-that-has #Press #SocialMedia #Government #UK #Zionists #WarCriminals #Israel #Gaza #PalestinianGenocide #BFIWD #EradicateZionism #FreePalestine

“UK BOOSTS SAUDI SUPPORT AFTER IT KILLS YEMENI CIVILIANS” by John McEvoy in Declassified UK @uk_politics@Declassified_UK@mastodonapp.uk@DeclassifiedUK@independent-media.co.uk@UKLabour@mastodon.cloud@palestine@fedibird.com @Palestine@masto.ai@palestine@lemmy.ml @iran@iraq@mastodon.social@palestinenews@gts.liberated.press@Yemen@mastodon.social “Britain is expanding its aerial refuelling of Saudi fighter jets to include bombing raids on Yemen, despite a major spike in civilians being killed in these airstrikes. Wes Streeting initially said the UK would only provide air-to-air refuelling for Saudi jets patrolling the kingdom’s skies to ward off drone and missile attacks on airports and oil infrastructure by Yemen’s Houthi movement. The defence secretary is now letting British fighter jets join those patrols, as well as providing refuelling for Saudi airstrikes on ‘Houthi military targets in Yemen’” https://www.declassifieduk.org/uk-boosts-saudi-support-after-it-kills-yemeni-civilians/ #Press #SocialMedia #Government #UK #Labour #Streeting #Saudi #Yemen #War #Houthi #Warmonger #WarCrimes #Civilians #imperialism #Racism #AnsarAllah

The setback comes as #AI leader #Anthropic raced to sell novel #technology to #business & #government, particularly for #NationalSecurity, ahead of its widely expected #IPO. At the same time, the battle over #tech #guardrails had raised concerns that the #DoD would follow #US #law [certainly not this one] but little other constraint when deploying AI for national-security missions, regardless of #safety or #ethics service terms embraced by the technology's developers. #Trump #surveillance

NEW on our “Paper Trail” podcast: Under Trump 2.0, the White House has often ignored Congress to carry out its agenda. Entire agencies, like USAID, have been gutted. ICE has grown explosively.
