Gurman reveals a secret new Intel Mac Pro (J170) and cancelled M2/M3 Extreme chips behind the Mac Pro discontinuation, as Mac Studio takes the crown. #Apple #MacPro #MacStudio #AppleSilicon #MarkGurman #Intel

I upgraded a MacPro 2013 from 6 cores to a 12 core Xeon today. The old CPU had this strange defect (the reddish spot) on its heatspreader which had a similar looking counterpart on the copper heatsink. I never saw something like this before, does anyone know what this is? The CPU worked without problems. #intel #xeon #macpro #apple #defect

Der #MacPro war ja sowieso nur ein #MacStudio mit PCIe Ports.
