I feel sorry for librarians in the era of tech-bro controlled social media 😒 #Library #LibraryMemes #Meme #Libraries #Librarians #Humor #Humour #Funny #Bookstodon #FantasyBooks

I think this is one reason I like writing fantasy, whatever weirdness I come up with it's always correct 🤔😁 @fantasy@lemmy.world @bookstodon@fedigroups.social @books@lemmy.world @reading@fedigroups.social @worldbuilding @humor@fedigroups.social @humor@lemmy.world @aiop #SpeculativeFiction #FantasyBooks #Geek #FantasyMemes #SciFiMemes #Fantasy #SciFi #Meme #Humor #Humour #Funny #Low #High #Epic #Science #Opera #Hard #CottageCore #SolarPunk #Comedic #Whatever #GiveMeAllYouveGot #Novel #Books #Bookstodon

Hey! I'm S. Garak Tangri, a writer, musician, and IT guy. I like to write Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-fi; usually a blend of all 3 if I can get away with it! 😜 I'm currently querying The Grave Lord, an Epic Fantasy Horror novel with a strong character focus I'm here primarily to discuss reading and writing the genres above, exchanging general writing/publishing tips, and to have fun! I will NOT be posting or interacting with hateful content, AI generated anything, or posting critical reviews of books I don't personally enjoy (there's enough armchair critics already) If you're still interested, give me a follow! I'll try to post semi regularly, but life tends to get in the way. #writingcommunity #fantasybooks #ReadingCommunity #bookstodon #HorrorBooks #writing #WritersOfMastodon #introduction

Good news, Ottawa: a fantasy bookstore is planned for this fall. More indie bookshops, more community...and more shelves full of dragons, magic and suspiciously detailed maps. My TBR pile has sensed danger. https://ottawacitizen.com/life/new-fantasy-bookstore-ottawa #Ottawa #FantasyBooks #ShopLocal

If you're tired of me talking about the Kickstarter, here's good news: it's ending soon. If it's the first time you see me talking about it, here's bad news: there's very little time left to jump in and get Sanguine Scenario in your preferred format! Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/authorjm/sanguine-scenario-adventure-fantasy-hardcover?ref=czkooa #bookstodon #fantasy #fantasybooks #amreading #amreadingfantasy #cozydark

For the international audience: My cozy fantasy novel won an award! I'm so happy! 🥰 #Fantasybooks #CozyFantasy

All the characters in Sanguine Scenario have thoughts on adventures. What are yours? The Kickstarter has only 8 days to go, so if you want an illustrated cozy dark fantasy adventure with custom chapter headers, pick your format (e-book, paperback, jacketed hardcover, or special edition) and join other backers to make it happen! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/authorjm/sanguine-scenario-adventure-fantasy-hardcover?ref=czkooa #bookstodon #fantasy #fantasybooks #cozydark

Many of us had to figure out our own queer/ neurodivergent identities, and or how to manage our disability(s). I figured its time we had a book bundle in which characters do that, by authors on the same journey(s). So I organised this fantasy & multi-genre bundle. https://itch.io/b/3781/figuring-it-out-queer-neurodivergent-disabled #QueerBooks #Neurodivergent #books #DisabilityPrideMonth #Disabled #DisabilityBooks #fantasy #Bookstodon #FantasyBooks #LGBTQIA

Self-promotion in progress 😁 The Last Philosopher is a Fantasy/Attempted Comedy story that some have even compared to #DouglasAdams and #TerryPratchett My response to that comparison, is to go hide under the covers for a week with embarrassment 😊 1€ Ebook. Help an #IndieAuthor to get to 100 sales, up to 26 from 14.
