Sup will be open source and fully self-hostable, with an official paid hosting service launching later in 2027. We are working to make it easy to install and maintain, so you can host your own private Sup servers with ease. Unfortunately, we did get rejected from NLnet for this, but thats okay, because Pixelfed is funding this! https://getsup.net More details soon. #Sup

Sup. was rejected from NLnet, but I understand because they like to fund one type of project in a space to be able to support other types of projects. That won't stop me from building it though, and it will be subsidized from the donations to Pixelfed and Loops. I know its just a concept now, but it will be rolling out to Pixelfed and Loops in the next month! Follow @supapp for updates! #sup #supMessenger

So why Sup? Why isn't this just in Pixelfed or Loops? Well, I did that first, and now Pixelfeds new mobile app will have a first class Group Chat feature, but, being able to connect multiple accounts in one messenger app is what people want. I'm in a unique position to be able to integrate this into my two popular platforms, Pixelfed and Loops, and work with other projects to bring E2EE Chats to everyone! #sup #supMessenger #supByPixelfed

Wir hatten heute ein total aufregendes #Rausgeschafft! Nachdem 🚴‍♂️ ja gestern ein #SUP-Board für Bruce gebastelt hat, musste das natürlich heute unbedingt mit! :Blobhaj: Nachdem er beim ersten Versuch rein gefallen war, kam von Tiny ein ganz leises kichern... Und von Bruce daraufhin die einzig locgische Frage - "Auch mal probieren?" :BlobHajMlem: Und nach ein bisschen Zögern und beflauschung hat sich Tiny tatsächlich getraut - und ist ein Naturtalent! :BlobhajTinyHeart:#Turnverein

K1 hat letzten Sommer die Wasserspaß-Option SUP entdeckt (okay, ich auch ein kleines bisschen). Daher jetzt wiederholt die Überlegung ein günstiges (unter 500 mit Pumpe und Paddel) zu besorgen, um am WE Mal spontan zum Schliersee, Staffelsee etc. zu fahren und bisschen übers Wasser zu gleiten. Da gibt's zwar auch Miet-SUPs, aber ich hätte vermutet/gehofft, dass sich die Stundenpreise schnell amortisieren.. 🤔🤞 Nach kurzer Recherche, bin ich natürlich auch eher gleich bei Touringboards, statt Allroundern, weil evtl. auch Mal alleine nutzen..?! Zusätzliche Einschränkung: Es muss groß genug sein, um 1Erw. + 2 K. zu tragen, muss sich aber mit der Bahn gut genug von München aus transportieren lassen. Frage: Gibt's dsbzgl. Erfahrungen, v.a. zum Transport? #SUP #München #FediEltern
